London calling…
Yay! it’s back to waking up at stupid o’clock to catch the 7am coach to London for the school Art gallery trip again. And it was as freezing cold as I remembered the last time.
London Tate Gallery Trip
This year it was a ludicrously early, freezing cold start to the trip with the added bonus of the threat of snow. Yes, it was time for the annual art/photography trip to London. With my bag rammed full of hat, scarf, gloves and food I was hopefully prepared for the long day ahead.
Lest we forget
This years Remembrance Day was marked with a special memorial for those that fell. It featured 19,240 shrouded 12 inch figures arranged in rows on the ground.
Malvern Show 2016
An early start for the RHS Malvern Spring show. If you’ve never been, it’s a bit like Glastonbury Festival for gardeners but with better toilets.
London gallery trip
An early start in the dark to travel up to London on an school trip to support one of our special needs students. After what seemed to be a very long journey we left the coach onto the busy London streets. Our first port of call was Tate Modern for a very brief one hour visit.
