Significant snow is rare here. Bristol usually misses most of the bad winter weather that other parts of the country gets. It can get pretty cold but very cold frosty mornings aren’t that plentiful. This morning I fling back the curtains and everything has had a dusting of frost and the sun is rising on a cloudless day.
One of the things you notice when visiting the Malvern show is the hills that loom over the showground. We often wonder about visiting them and seeing what they are like. This Summer we managed to visit them during a quick break at the end of August.
It’s usually sub-zero cold or raining and muddy when the annual Wassail comes around. Fortunately the day was relatively mild if a little grey and overcast.
